clay care:

for wall hangings + jewelry, ensure you are dusting + wiping down with a damp cloth weekly. if dirt smudging occurs, use mild soap on a wet cloth to gently rub away marks.

all wall hangings + jewelry are made to order.
approximate time to make your order can be found in the item details.

you'll receive an e-mail confirmation when your order is complete + in the mail.

mail service:
tracking numbers are included in your shipment confirmation email.
international shipping is available - if you do not see your country, please say hello.
all items come packaged securely.

gift note:
if this is a gift, feel free to notate that in the “special info” field during checkout, including your gift message.

this will be included on a handwritten card for the gift recipient. :)

RETURN + EXCHANGES

wall hangings:

all wall hangings are non-refundable/non-exchangeable once received.

there is a 25% fee for any wall hanging orders cancelled prior to them being made.

desert sun + dome hats:

ALL Hats are exchangable within 7 days OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE.

you can exchange for a different size, style or color.

please say hello or email if you intend on exchanging TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS.

be advised that shipping costs are not refunded and you are responsible for the return COST. there is no cost for shipping the exchange back to you.

exchanges should be in the original packaging + condition and able to be resold. if an item is returned that is visibly worn, the exchange cannot be made.

PALM LEAVES | CARE + REPAIR

palm leaf hat care:

natural palm leaves may darken with exposure to water + sun. this is ok, as it gains character.

if your brim or crown becomes warped or bent, simply spray with water + flatten on surface, preferably in the sun using large objects that allow for leaf drying + aeration.

hang your hat on the wall to maintain shape.

do not try to roll or flatten your Desert Sun/DOME Hat, as it will break the palm leaves. instead, wear while traveling (more hats on your head the better) — or using suitcase, pack inner crown with socks/underwear, lay flat in suitcase + pack clothes around it creating equal pressure all around.

palm leaves:

all palm leaf hats are harvested, weaved and constructed in Guatemala — handmade by artisan hat makers in Santa Cruz de la Quiché

FINISHING:

ALL FINISHES ARE HANDMADE, ASSEMBLED IN CALIFORNIA — INCLUDING NATURAL LEATHER STAMPEDE CORD, CERAMIC CLAY BEAD + MAPLE/BIRCH WOOD BEADS.
